National Conference 2023
The National Conference on “Gender Equality, Social Justice and Role of Civil Society” was a significant event held in March 2023 at the University Law College. This conference brought together more than 200 participants who presented their research papers on the critical themes of gender equality, social justice, and the role of civil society.
The conference served as a platform for intellectual discourse and the exchange of ideas, fostering a deeper understanding of these pertinent issues. The participants’ papers covered a wide range of topics, reflecting the diverse perspectives and approaches to these subjects.
Following the conference, a select few of these papers were chosen for publication. These selected works were compiled into a book titled “Gender Equality, Social Justice and Role of Civil Society”, published in August 2023 which is now available on Amazon. This book serves as a testament to the insightful discussions and valuable contributions made during the conference.
The book was inaugurated by the 33rd Chief Justice of Orissa High Court, Hon’ble Justice Subhasis Talapatra, adding further prestige to the event. The conference and the subsequent publication of the book underscore the ongoing commitment to promoting gender equality, advancing social justice, and recognizing the crucial role of civil society in these endeavors.
